Calling all trail users!
AMPL is hosting a trail maintenance day this coming Saturday, July 6th. Join us to help restore beautiful single track trail connecting Wilson to Victor.
What: Trail maintenance day at Mosquito Creek to Mail Cabin sponsored by Advocates for Multi-Use of Public Lands (AMPL) and Mountain Bike the Tetons
When: Saturday July 6th. Start time 8:00 am
Where: Meet at the end of Mosquito Creek road (approximately 7 miles from when you turn off Fall Creek Road onto Mosquito Creek road)
Plan of action: We will be doing trail maintenance on the 5.5 mile section of mostly single track that starts at the end of Mosquito Creek and goes the top of Mail Cabin via Mosquito Pass. This is an important trail connection linking Mail Cabin to the well maintained Mike Harris and Pole Canyon trails. All combined, this effort will allow users a unique trail experience up to 15 miles in one direction.
Mountain Bike the Tetons trail crew will be starting at the top of Mail Cabin and will work their way down until we meet somewhere in the middle. This classic mountain bike, horseback and hiking trail is a unique bridge connecting the communities of Wilson, WY and Victor, ID.
