Celebrate Public Lands Day with AMPL!
When: Saturday September 28th 11:30-1:30 (9am ride, see below)
Who: All outdoor recreationist and public land users. Please bring the entire family!!
What: AMPL Wyoming Public Lands Celebration Day with lunch served at noon
Where: In the Mosquito Creek drainage approximately 4 miles up Mosquito Creek road from Fall Creek Road (Look for the AMPL tent)
Mountain bikers: For anyone interested, we will be organizing a MTB backcountry group ride up Mail Cabin and then over to Mosquito Pass and down to the celebration site. This ride has about 2,000’ of elevation gain and 2,750’ of elevation loss. Total ride time is approximately 2.5 hours. Meet at the Stage Coach in Wilson at 9 am to catch the free shuttles to the top of Teton Pass where we will start the ride.
Dirt bikers: Dirt bikers bring your bikes and experience the 10-mile Mill Creek Loop trail that was funded by Wyoming State Trails through a grant for JHDirt and the BTNF Jackson District office.
Side by Side owners: There are about 10 miles of Forest Service Roads that are open to OHV’s so feel free to drive your Side by Side to the event.
