ADVOCACY & POLICY

The Bridger-Teton National Forest has announced they have begun a Forest Plan Revision. This 2-3 year process will either positively or negatively impact recreation on our public lands. We are working tirelessly with land managers, other non-profits, and recreationists to ensure a bright future for multi-use recreation. Submitting a Public Comment

Your voice is important for shaping the future of our public lands. All major decisions regarding access, recreation, and land-use are made after periods open for public comment. By law, government agencies are required to review these public comments and consider them in making their final decisions. It is important to speak up with a clear, factual voice in order to make change and have your voice heard. Be sure to sign up for AMPL's newsletter to be informed when it is time to speak up for multi-use recreation.
